Postcard sent from Ralph Hagemeyer to his father and step-mother/aunt Jessie in 1905. They had been visiting Los Angeles, while he worked and got stuck in quarantine, perhaps due to the yellow fever outbreak of 1905. This card took the scenic route before it found them back home in Meridian, MS.
"Dear Papa & Mama: Well the work of quarinting is over, and I will leave for Meridian in a day or so will write then. This is me for 2 months that I was here. Ralph"
