Extended description & pictures/videos

Located in Bakersville, NC. Will drive up to a day to meet serious buyers for a walk through/inspection of the coach. Will drive farther for cost of fuel.

Perfect for a ‘full-timer’ or luxury get-aways, this 2014 Tiffin Phaeton 40 QBH motorhome is more than an RV.  This coach was custom built for a veteran couple of the RV life. Like many serious full-timers, they went to Red Bay, AL to watch each step and carefully-chosen option go into the coach. Outfitted with the finest amenities on offer, with efficiency in mind, it’s easy to maintain, quick to get on the road and a pleasure to live in.

For those of you that want a slower-paced walk through…

Hitting the road in comfort begins with the articulated captains chairs. Slide the step cover closed, and you’re gliding down the road smoothly, thanks to the air suspension system. Side and rear cameras respond to turn signals, changing your viewing screen appropriately. Digital radio, CD, iPod, Bluetooth, and SiriusXM are included in the Sat Nav system. Fueling and parking are a breeze with the great visibility this coach has to offer. The coach’s braking system and turn signals connect to your towed car, giving you safety and the freedom to take excursions wherever you roam.

Setting camp is an easy process with the hydraulic auto-leveling system, one-touch per slide-out, automatic door and entertainment-slide awnings and quick power, water and sewer connections.

Once camp is set, walk inside to your luxury home and flick the satellite switch to find the TV signal. Interior touches include deluxe wood cabinets with a smart tile that doesn’t show footprints and subtle carpeting. Add your rugs, pull out the dining table, swivel around the captains chairs, and you’re home away from home.

The queen-sized air bed/leather sofa is an upgrade that sleeps well and sets up quickly. In a sitting position, the leg supports and ottoman provide comfy evening relaxation across from the electric fireplace and flat screen TV.

Set up to do business on the road, there is a built-in desk complete with room for a printer and a filing drawer.

The dining table slides out to a spacious size. The two folding upholstered chairs are comfortable and easily stowed. The coach offers plenty of cabinet space, plus a slide-out cutting/serving board with drawers that makes meals easy. The convection microwave makes everything from biscuits to pot roast. A gas range top with fan covers neatly when not in use for more counter space.

The residential two-door refrigerator with ice and water dispenser sit over a generously sized drawer freezer. Turn around and you have a fantastic double-sided sink with extending spray faucet and, of course, a window.

Sleep well on the queen sized Sleep Number bed with a flat screen TV, Blue Ray, ceiling fan, underbed storage, bedside cubbies and reading lights. The en-suite bathroom features an enclosed shower with handled shower head and a skylight. A full closet with generous cabinetry plus a washer and dryer make living easy.

It’s no secret that pre-owned RVs can be a great value or, frankly, a hot mess. Did the previous owner winterize the rig properly to keep parts from freezing? Did they leave the fridge or washing machine closed and damp so mildew could grow? Did they keep up with regular oil changes? You can find plenty of horror stories. This coach has been lovingly and meticulously cared for by the seller, with records to prove it. Read on to see how carefully this coach has been maintained and upgraded. Also see the extra goodies and parts that will help carry the new owner though future adventures.
