Remote Desktop just works.

Anyone who knows me knows I’m not very fond of microsoft. Recently though I found a feature in Window$ that deserves Kudos.

Remote Desktop. It just works.
For the longest time I avoided even trying it, figuring that Vnc was good enough so why try RD.

A few days ago, while getting My new T4215 set up, I thought I’d give
RD a shot since I didn’t already have Vnc set up on my desktop machine.

Setting it up was a snap. It couldn’t have been easier.

Using it is just as easy. RD connects and I’m using my machine just as
if I were Sitting at it and I don’t have to scroll my screen because of
the resolution differences between my laptop & desktop.

This sounds like a minor feature until you’ve experienced it.

Another reason to give it a shot is that it stays out of your way. There aren’t 1000 settings to mess with. In fact, there are none. You start it, it gives you a view to your machine and lets you work.

If you need remote control of a windows machine, give RD a try. It’s
one feature in Window$, that simply works. No tweaking needed.
